Bugs for Babes

If there was something you, as a parent, could do for your child’s future health, would you do it? If you could reduce the risk of your child developing asthma, colic, diabetes, allergies, obesity, Crohn’s disease, irritable bowel syndrome, or mental health challenges, would you do something to prevent it? What if that required a time investment, would you still do it?

Investing into your child’s future health requires an investment into your gut health since maternal gut health is predictive of children’s health. The best time to start investing is now! Regardless of whether you are planning on being pregnant, currently pregnant, lactating, or have children past the infancy stage, you have the privilege of growing healthy children through an investment into gut health.

Bugs for Babes links the science behind maternal gut health with the effect is has on children’s future health. This presentation addresses that link by providing practical ways you can incorporate nutritional and non-nutritional health practices that enhance gut health. Please read this blog post for more information.

Price: $20 per person; $35 for couples

Who is Bugs for Babes for?

This presentation is not just for women. It is for couples who are planning on becoming pregnant, are pregnant, or who have children. It is also for people in a women’s life who support her through pregnancy. Women have the role of carrying a baby for nine months, but there are many significant people who help her lead a healthy pregnancy and who have already fallen in love with the baby growing inside her.

Women who are breastfeeding young babies are welcome to bring them along. Breastfeeding is one of the best health investments a mom can make for her babe!
